This summer we hosted two research teams. One group worked with astronomers to measure the mass of hundreds of clusters of galaxies. The other group used seismometers to understand how ground motion will impact the design of The Fermilab Holometer, a pair of Michelson interferometers to measure the quantum nature of space. At the end of the summer, both groups presented their results to scientists at Fermilab and to a group of high school teachers who were attending our workshop.
