The summer of 1999 was QuarkNet's first. David Blair, a teacher at Bloomington (Indiana) High School South became a lead teacher and worked with Alex Dzierba, a physicist at Indiana University. Kathy Plinske was an undergraduate at Indiana at the time and spent her summer at Fermilab in the QuarkNet offices. The three collaborated on this project, Kathy turned the commments of the other two into the web-pages that you see here.
