All working groups have the responsibility to:
  1. Study test beam data (provided below) to calibrate system response to particles of a known energy, so that you can understand what response to unknown particles might mean.

  2. Present your findings at the Milestone C Seminar, so that everyone in your team can participate in event reconstruction.

ECal Working Group

This group is responsible for finding the amount of energy deposited in the electromagnetic calorimeters when an event trigger is satisfied.

Test beam data:     Electrons 10 GeV     Electrons 20 GeV     Electrons 50 GeV

HCal Working Group

This group is responsible for finding the amount of energy deposited in the hadronic calorimeters when an event trigger is satisfied.

Test beam data:     Pions 10 GeV     Pions 20 GeV     Pions 50 GeV

SiDet Working Group

This group is responsible for finding the momentum of the observed particle when an event trigger is satisfied.

Additionally, your group must understand the response from the muon system so that the team can account for these penetrating particles when doing event reconstruction.

Test beam data:     Muons 10 GeV     Muons 20 GeV     Muons 50 GeV
