SRCH Detector System

• Silicon Detector: a small region of silicon vertex detectors immersed in a magnetic field of 4 Tesla (40 kGauss).
• Electromagnetic Calorimeter: twenty layers of liquid argon (sensitive material) separated by layers of uranium (absorber).
• Hadronic Calorimeter: twenty layers of liquid argon (sensitive material) separated by layers of lead (absorber).
• Muon Catcher: plastic scintillators that indicate the passage of a muon.
