Where Catching Some Z's Fits in the Curriculum:

We see this project fitting into the high-school curriculum in a number of spots:

• During the study of conservation of momentum - students must appply momentum conservation rules to reduce the data.
• During the study of conservation of energy - students must appply energy conservation rules to reduce the data.
• During the study of large datasets and the statistics of large numbers - each of the three trials here yield thousands of datapoints.
• During the study of a unit on particle physics.
