Does Ohm's Law Apply to a Semiconductor?

the big experiment at Fermilab depended on it . . . .

the particle physics group at Boston University was responsible for finding out . . . .

of course, they knew Ohm's Law, V=IR, for resistors and wires in a normal environment . . . .


but what about EXTREME conditions?

semiconductors under intense RADIATION

Is it the same? Is it different? Is it still V = IR?
