Mission:
The teaching and learning fellows will identify teaching practices and create an individual plan of growth toward practices that reflect inquiry-based techniques. They will devise and lead a plan that creates opportunities for other QuarkNet teachers to do the sameSummer '07 Workshop Goals:
- Assess your own teaching (survey)
- Devise a personal plan for growth in inquiry-based practices
- Identify readings
- Re-write one student activity
Homework:
- Identify and share one student activity for re-write
- Read "Understanding by Design" by Wiggins & McTighe
- Submit "teaching profile" based on responses to survey
